Randerson Welcomes Friends of Dermatology Ward

Today Jenny Randerson AM will welcome patients and staff from the under threat Dermatology Ward at University Hospital Wales who will lobby the Welsh Assembly to prevent the ward's closure.

Jenny Randerson, Cardiff Central AM said 'It seems silly to close such a well thought of and professional ward when Cardiff should be at the centre of a world class health service for Wales as a whole.

"Dermatological conditions can have very negative psychological and social effects and patients need to be treated with this in mind. I just hope that the outstanding service provided by the ward can continue."
