Commenting on the news that North Wales may see the development of a single emergency control room for the emergency services, Welsh Liberal Democrat Health Spokesperson, Jenny Randerson AM said:
"I am delighted that these plans have come a step closer. This was a proposal that was contained in the Welsh Liberal Democrat Manifesto. Fighting the overstretch of many of our emergency services will be a lot easier with more collaboration like this. It makes it a lot easier to deal with big emergencies when the control rooms are under one roof. I hope that this is a glimpse of the future for emergency services in Wales."
